Strange Feeling – Shadouge Fic

It was a refreshing night in Emerald City, every life form was in it's houses, sleeping or watching TV, but two life forms wasn't sleeping, they're thinking, thinking about something, something really strange, something it was change the life of both...forever.

                                     ---At Shadow&'s home---

Shadow was lied on couch, gazing at the roof, thinking about one person, a nearly friend, a woman and what he feels when he stay near of her.
"This feeling...what could be...maybe love...or something else..." Shadow told to himself, he was confused and staying lied on couch doesn't help him to find what he want.

                                     ---At Rouge's apartment---

She was looking through the window of her room, looking for an answer to her question: "Did he love me? Did Shadow want me to his side forever?" This question stay on her head some days early. She can't find an answer to her question. "That's it!" she started "Tomorrow I will say to him what I really felt about us." She finished with courage on heart. "Wait a minute, why wait 'til tomorrow if I can say this to him now?" she questioned herself "It's not too late and I think Shadow still awake." She put some casual clothes and go flying through at Shadow's place.

                                     ---At Shadow's home again---

Shadow still on couch, but he decided to go to kitchen to drink some water. When he heard the doorbell and run to open the door, but before he do it he yell "Who's there?" and he heard a sweet voice "It's me, Rouge. I need to talk to you." He don't think twice and open the door for her "Sorry, come in." Rouge enter on his place, she was dressed with a white top-tank with a purple heart on chest, a soft blue jeans, white shoes and a dark-pink and black jacket. "I want to talk with you Shadow, it's important. Let's take a sit, shall we?" Both sit on couch and Rouge started "Shadow, some days early I was feeling a little strange, my heart was beating really faster and stronger when I was near of you..." she said and Shadow reply "Well, I know what you're talking about...the same happen to me...".
"Really?" she asked "So, I need you to hear this..." she come closer to Shadow "I...I..." she started, afraid of Shadow's reaction "You what? Tell me!" Shadow said, impatient. "I love you" Rouge finish and kiss Shadow's lips. Shadow was scared, but on each second he was growing calm. Shadow broke the kiss "I think I love you too...I was so confused with all this, but after this, I had understand everything and I found a reason to live". "And what is it, sweet-heart?" she asked "To love you, to spend all day of my life near to you" Shadow answer kissing Rouge's lips. She hug Shadow tight, enjoying the kiss and Shadow hug her too, but really soft, afraid to hurt her. "You're so sweet, Shadow" she said "But just with you" Shadow finished, the two embrace each other and kiss each other with a great passion. The night has gone really faster and the morning come so soon, but nothing gonna separate each other from their feeling.
